The SmartScribe.Docx SDK contains no telemetry, no call-home functionality, and no data collection of any kind. The DLL does not make network connections. Your documents, file paths, and user data never leave the machine running the SDK.
The SDK does not collect, transmit, or store:
License key validation is performed entirely locally using cryptographic functions within the DLL. No network connection is made during validation. No key data is transmitted anywhere.
When you visit this website, standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This information is used solely for security and operational purposes and is not shared with third parties.
If you register for an Indie license, we collect your name, email address, and project information. This information is used only to issue your license key and to contact you about license renewals. We do not sell or share this information.
Payment processing is handled by PayPal. We receive confirmation of payment and your email address. PayPal's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
